ABOUT HELEN ANDERSON
The enchantment of New Mexico is awe-inspiring, and I do my best to capture its beauty. I am an artist who has lived in New Mexico for 50 years. I love the Southwest and have been painting in watercolor, charcoal, and acrylic for over 35 years. The Rio Grande and the Sandia Mountains are some of my most loved subjects. I do not limit my artistic talent by exclusively painting landscapes; I also do portraits.

Walking along the Rio Grande and taking photographs of the beauty of this region is one of my favorite pastimes. I use these photos for my paintings. I capture the beauty with the added feelings that come from my innermost being to make them glow.
