These women were selling their handmade wares—jewelry, blankets, crafts—and I was drawn in by the rich colors, the textures, and their calm presence. I loved the way they sat, quietly waiting, sharing space and tradition. Painting this scene was my way of honoring that everyday beauty and the strength in their quiet work.
